SCORS-Validator™
What It Does
SCORS-Validator™ scrutinizes a manuscript to identify literary quality conditions that may remain even after careful self-editing and repeated revision. Its analysis identifies conditions relevant to manuscript readiness, including those likely to become material during professional evaluation by an Agent or Publisher.
What You Get
Two complementary records present the results of a comprehensive diagnosis of the manuscript against the highest bar of Literary Quality Assurance. The Validation Results Record (VRR) identifies areas of low, normal, and high proficiency, establishes the Qualitative Quotient, and provides a basis for tracking Continuous Improvement. The Contextual Analysis Record (CAR) maps the location and classification of identified incongruences. Together, these records provide the clarity and context needed to make informed choices in honing the manuscript while preserving the writer's distinctive voice and creative intent.
How To Use It
Submit your manuscript in standard PDF format through your Registered Member Account, just as you would for an Agent, Proofreader, Editor, or Publisher. SCORS-Validator™ performs the analysis without retaining your manuscript or requiring additional software. Your VRR and CAR are delivered directly to your account, with email notification when they are ready for download within 72 hours.
CERTIFICATION
SCORS-Validator™ Certification signifies that a manuscript has achieved a level of Literary Quality Excellence through comprehensive analysis against stringent standards. Certification provides the author, Agent, or Publisher with independent evidence of manuscript readiness and a documented basis for confidence in the work.
